Adjoining Rosters

In 2011 we allowed the Senior Division to submit a roster comprised of adjoining communities if a community was unable to submit a roster on their own due to a lack of players or run the risk of forfeiting games.

The Board has voted to expand the use of adjoining rosters to the A (15-16), B (13-14) and C (13) divisions for 2012 subject to the rules that follow:

Adjoining communities may submit a combined team roster if
    a. they are unable to submit a team roster on their own due to a lack of players or run the risk of forfeiting games;
    b. one of the combined adjoined communities will be the responsible community (subject to league approval) that will be the community that other communities are adjoined to and will

        i. serve as point of contact for the league;
        ii. submit the team registration;
        iii. submit the team roster (can not roster a player from an adjoining community if that adjoining community is submitting a roster unless the adjoining community approves);
        iv. provide field(s) in the responsible community’s location where the games will be played.

If you have any questions regarding this change please contact Gerry Ouellette (gerry.ouellette@verizon.net or 781-789-3299).

If you desire to submit an adjoining roster, as provided in the new rule above, you will need league approval so please contact Gerry Ouellette if you’re thinking of doing so for that league approval.
